Chitwan : The BP Koirala Memorial Cancer Hospital in Chitwan is going to expand its services in all the provinces of the country. The hospital has been expanding its services to all parts of the country.
Executive Director of the hospital Dr. Shivji Poudel said that the Central Cancer Hospital is going to expand its services at the provincial level under the federal government’s program. He informed that the service will be expanded to operate at least a five-bed cancer treatment room in a government hospital in every province. There is a need to expand hospital services for cancer testing.
The service will be extended to Dhankuta in Koshi Province, Janakpur in Madhes, Damauli in Gandaki, Dang in Lumbini, Surkhet in Karnali and Dhangadhi in the Far-Western Province.
According to Executive Director Dr. Poudel, a team of specialist doctors will be assigned to the extended center at the hospital one week every month. The service will be operated in coordination with the health institutions of all the provinces.
